version of Windows
Windows Vista has arrived – we have been playing
with it cautiously. It looks very different from its predecessors. For the
time being we think the best advice is to leave it alone until Microsoft get
round to the first set of 'patches', 'service packs', or other optional
enhancements. Past experience suggests that the second edition of
Microsoft products is usually less nerve-wracking...

A new
Director for Nectar
Helen Littlewood, who
has been keeping the rest of us organised for the past 2 years, has been
appointed a Director of Nectar Electronics Ltd. Her pleasure in the
appointment was only marred by the incontinent digestive system of one of her
dogs. We wish Helen a long and satisfying reign, and her dog a speedy return to
health.
